In the Season 10 premiere of the reality TV show Wahlburgers, “What It Do in Des Moines,” former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez honors a bet he lost to Hollywood movie star Mark Wahlberg. (A-Rod bet that the Yankees would beat the Boston Red Sox but they didn’t.)
When the former slugger shows up at the Wahlburgers restaurant at Fenway Park, chef Paul Wahlberg is shocked by the reception A-Rod gets from Red Sox fans. Paul also gets upset because A-Rod is so nice. He complains to his brother Donnie, “He bats his eyes at you and you’re like oh my god, it’s A-Rod.”

When Donnie asks Paul if he took any pictures of A-Rod mopping the bathroom floor or flipping burgers, Paul said no, “I was working.” But of course there were plenty of cameras following Rodriguez as he donned his white apron at the restaurant. Plus, his girlfriend-now-fiance Jennifer Lopez, circulated a video to her 89 million followers on social media. “Thanks, JLo,” says Donnie.
