In the God Friended Me episode “Return to Sender,” a package mistakenly shows up on Miles’ (Brandon Michael Hall) doorstep, and his search for its importance leads him to a couple grieving the loss of their daughter. Miles also reconnects with John Dove, his first friend suggestion. (Miles saved his life when he pulled him away from an oncoming subway.) Miles, Cara (Violett Beane) and Rakesh (Suraj Sharma) reunite with John Dove, after Rakesh discovers a connection between Dove and tech CEO Simon Hayes (Adam Goldberg).
John Dove is portrayed by Christopher Redman. He’s known for his roles on Workin’ Moms (Brad Heshinton), Reverie (Ray McConley), Grey’s Anatomy (Chris, see phhoto below), CSI: Miami (Michael Travers), and Stargate SG-1 (Airman Shep Wickenhouse), among others. God Friended Me airs Sundays at 8 pm on CBS, right before NCIS: Los Angeles.
