On The Simpsons Season 30 episode “I Want You (She’s So Heavy),” a romantic night ends in injury. Marge recovers by taking up kite boarding while Homer bonds with his hallucinated hernia. Lisa, meanwhile, attempts to fix her parents’ strained relationship by seeking advice from an unlikely source. The title of the episode refers to The Beatles song that John Lennon wrote about his love for Yoko Ono. It’s on their famous Abbey Road album, see below. (P.S. That’s Billy Preston on the Hammond organ.)

The last Wallace character to appear on The Simpsons was lawyer Wallace Brady. He appeared in the 2006 episode “The Monkey Suit” (Season 17). In court he was against Lisa in the case Lisa vs. God. Wallace Brady was voiced by the late Larry Hagman (J.R. on Dallas).
Wallace in the “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” episode is voiced by Wallace Shawn. It is, remarkably, the famous voice actor’s debut on The Simpsons. Wallace is the voice of Rex in the Toy Story movies and Gilbert Huph in The Incredibles, to name just two blockbuster franchises. On camera, Shawn is known for his current role as Professor Sturgis on The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon. Shawn is also well recognized for his roles in films including The Princess Bride (Vizzini), and My Dinner with Andre, among many others. He made his debut on the big screen in Woody Allen’s Manhattan as Diane Keaton’s ex-husband Jeremiah (see below). The Simpsons airs Sundays at 8 pm on FOX.
