On The Big Bang Theory episode “The Conference Valuation,” Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) leaves her husband Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) in charge of the kids while she and Penny go to San Diego for a pharmaceutical sales convention. Hilarity ensues when Sheldon (Jim Parsons) finds a book on experimenting on kids. Rauch’s real-life brother Ben Rauch makes an appearance on the episode as Darren.

[She sings Partially Stalked Love too]
Ben Rauch is known for his TV roles on Girls (Bike Owner), Gossip Girl (Tim), Strangers with Candy (Lou), and in films including Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys (pianist/singer New Season #4) and Melissa Rauch’s 2015 movie The Bronze (Max), among others.
But Ben is really more of a stage actor. He’s been in A Few Good Men (with Lou Diamond Phillips), People Are Living There (Signature Theatre), Lost in Yonkers (Theatre Virginia), Miklat (Florida Stage), Spring Awakening (Broadway Workshop), and Jack and the Beanstalk (Symphony Space), among others. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 pm on CBS, right before Young Sheldon. [NOTE: Stream any CBS show through Amazon Prime or CBS ALL-ACCESS. Both options offer free trials.]
