On the pilot for the ABC action dramedy Whiskey Cavalier, FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley, Scandal) — his codename is Whiskey Cavalier — is handed a new assignment after his fiancee Gigi broke up with him. Russians have grabbed rogue NSA analyst Edgar Standish at the Hague airport. The agency wants him back in Paris — within 24 hours. Chase says no problem but when he shows up in Moscow, he’s distracted by CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan, The Walking Dead), who also has her eyes set on Standish. When they bring Standish back to the States, they decide to recruit him for the inter-agency team of spies.
Edgar Standish on Whiskey Cavalier is portrayed by Tyler James Williams. The former child actor is known for his roles on Dear White People (Carson Rhodes), Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (Russ Montgomery), The Walking Dead (Noah), Go On (Owen), and Everybody Hates Chris (Chris, see link above), among others. Fun fact: Williams made his TV debut on an episode of Sesame Street in 2000. Whiskey Cavalier airs Wednesdays at 10 pm on ABC, right after Single Parents.
