In the Vanderpump Rules episode “So Vain in Solvang,” Lala Kent invites her friends on a jet and together they travel to Solvang, a Danish-style town in southern California known for its wineries. While at a wine tasting, Kristen Doute reverts to her old crazy ways. Meanwhile, back in LA, James Kennedy has an explosive fight with his mother on the phone over money.

James screams into the phone: “He’s your ex-husband, my father!” Clearly, James doesn’t want his mother talking about his father. When they meet in person, his mother asks James, “Was I a shitty mother?” When he doesn’t answer, she reminds him “you took your f—king first step at Tiffany’s.” Is that a good thing?
James’ mother is Jacqueline Georgiou. She and her husband Andros Georgiou (who used to be in the music business with childhood friend George Michael — see link above) met SUR owners Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken a few years ago through Bruno Tonioli, judge on Dancing with the Stars, who’s an old friend of Lisa’s. Andros and Jacqueline asked Lisa to give James a job, and they did five years ago as a bus boy. Vanderpump Rules airs Mondays at 9 pm on Bravo.
