On the second part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 reunion, executive producer and host Andy Cohen asks Teresa Giudice about her husband Joe Giudice’s current state of mind. He is currently in prison and has been ordered to be deported to Italy after his sentence is completed. Teresa says, “He has tremendous guilt, but he’s very positive, very strong.” When Cohen asks if that happens, will he been transported from prison to an airport, Teresa says, “I hope I don’t have to cross that bridge.” The Giudices are appealing the deportation order.

Joe was born Giuseppe Giudice in Saronno, Italy, which is in the Northern Lombardy region, near Milan. The town of Saronno (population 39,351) is known for its amaretti (almond kernel biscuits) and amaretto liqueur, its Renaissance architecture, and a museum dedicated to the collection of 18th-century ceramics gathered by the late artist Giuseppe Gianetti. Plus, it’s close to Lake Como, a vacation spot for the wealthy and celebrities including movie star George Clooney and musician Sting.
