In the Speechless episode “O–OUR M-A-G–MAGEDDON,” Dylan (Kyla Kenedy) is horrified when she learns that people see her as a mini version of her mother Maya (Minnie Driver). Meanwhile, while Kenneth (Cedric Yarbrough) turns to Jimmy (John Ross Bowie) for help with Joyce (Liz Cackowsiki), brothers JJ (Micah Fowler) and Ray (Mason Cook) vie for the attention of a cute girl at school named Izzy. Both boys have a giant crush on her.
Izzy is portrayed by Kayla Maisonet. The 19-year-old actress is known for her roles on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Vanesssa Rodriguez), Disney’s Stuck in the Middle (Georgie Diaz), Dog with a Blog (Lindsay), and The Haunted Hathaways (Lilly), among others. Speechless airs Fridays at 8:30 pm on ABC, right after Fresh off the Boat.
