In the Will & Grace episode “Family Trip”, Will (Eric McCormack), Karen (Megan Mullally) and Jack (Sean Hayes) unknowingly take a hallucinogenic drug. While tripping, Will and Jack wonder if they’re each other’s soul mate and Karen gives her last “performance” as Mrs. Stanley Walker. Meanwhile, Grace (Debra Messing) works with her “high-powered lesbian client” Donna Zimmer. Grace is shocked when Donna takes up with Grace’s older screwed-up sister Janet (Mary McCormack).
[Chelsea Handler’s My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands]
Grace’s powerful lesbian client Donna Zimmer is portrayed by author (SEE LINK ABOVE), stand-up comedian and TV host Chelsea Handler. Handler and McCormack are best friends in real life — both are from New Jersey and their fathers are both car dealers. As Handler wrote on social media, on the show she acts “like an even bigger bitch than usual.”
Handler rocks a navy pin-stripe pantsuit for the role. Will & Grace airs Thursdays at 9:30 pm on NBC, right after Brooklyn Nine-Nine and right before Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. [BONUS: Stream any NBC show and watch LIVE on any device with NBC UNIVERSAL app available here. Download is FREE.]
