On the My Big Fat Fabulous Life episode “Old Habits Die Hard,” Whitney Way Thore is forced to confront Buddy after finding drugs (a bag of cocaine). She’s terrified that he’s relapsed and is using again. On a much lighter note, Whitney is hanging out with Heather, Henry and her cat when she decides to play match-maker for Heather and a man they met at the grocery store. On speaker, Whitney calls and “Grocery Store Guy” Will picks up. He says he and his friends are thinking of putting together a BBQ party and invites them. Whitney says that sounds great and then awkwardly asks if it’s going to be an intimate…in number…gathering? Her faux pas has Heather and Henry in stitches.
When she hangs up Heather says while laughing, “That was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced.” She tells Whitney, “You made it sound like if it was going to be a sex party.” Whitney’s proud of the call. Not only did she get an invitation to a party to see one man, we got an invitation to a party where there will be “presumably be more men.” My Big Fat Fabulous Life airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on TLC.
