In The Real Housewives of New Jersey episode “From Turkey With Love,” the ladies attend a charity event that Dolores Catania is hosting for women in need. There, Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs talk about new wife Jennifer Aydin — who is missing the event. Jennifer is in Turkey to celebrate the engagement of her brother. When Margaret learns that her brother knew his fiancée for just two weeks, she says, “Okay, that’s a little crazy.”
Teresa tries to explain that in the Turkish culture, the engaged couple don’t sleep together and “you get to know each other when you’ve married them.” Margaret asks what happens if the guy is a dud and adds, “That’s a life of torture.”
When Teresa mentions that Jennifer didn’t think her brother would ever get married because he’s now 45, Margaret says, “Okay, so this was like last licks?” Teresa defends the bride by pointing out that she’s leaving her whole family in Turkey to move to America to be with him. Again, Margaret comments with a demonic laugh, “She could be mail-order.” Teresa thinks Margaret is being “judgmental” and says, “It’s not right to talk about people’s families like that.” But Margaret keeps making comments like referring to Jennifer’s future sister-in-law as “expired like bad milk.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
