In the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles episode “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” while Josh Flagg delivers an ultimatum to the sellers of his Bel Air listing, Josh Altman and his brother Matt Altman list the former Hollywood compound of mega-star Mark Wahlberg. The two-time Oscar-nominated movie star (The Fighter, The Departed) added a Boston Celtics basketball court, a boxing ring and an airplane hangar, among other amenities, to the 11,500 square foot Mediterranean-style estate. After owning the home for 12 years, Wahlberg sold it in 2013 for $10.3 million; he now lives in Beverly Park, about five minutes away.

On this episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, according to Bravo, the Altman brothers are “blindsided” by the new owner of the home when they show up and discover that everything inside, all the furniture, is gone. In 2015, the home was put on the market for $30 million. In 2018, the Altmans sold it for $12.4 million. The Altmans also represented the buyer, btw. Million Dollar List LA airs Thursdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
Mark Wahlberg’s new home, a 30,000 square foot French manor…
What does Mark Wahlberg do in all these rooms? My house only has 7 rooms and I haven’t even been in three of them in like two weeks. pic.twitter.com/319Cp6rqot
