In the Married at First Sight episode “Honey, I’m Home?”, after their honeymoon in Costa Rica, Keith and Kristine return home to Philadelphia. While Kristine is excited about the newlyweds finding a new home together, in the interim they plan on staying at Keith’s grandmother’s house. Keith, the 30-year-old dialysis technician, has been living with his sweet grandmother, Muriel, since he was ten. Yes, for the past 20 years Keith has been living with his grandmother and he loves it. She cooks for him!
After a nice warm welcome from Keith’s grandmother, Keith brings Kristine upstairs to check out his bedroom, which is a mess. Kristine is not impressed. “Oh my god,” is the first thing that comes out of her mouth. The bed is made but every inch around it is cluttered with shoes, clothes and piles of papers. “It’s definitely not what I expected,” Kristine tells her husband. “This is like a teenage boy’s room.”

Keith tries to point out that Kristine will fit “right on that bed” but she’s too distracted by his messy closet. “This is not going to work,” she says. “Tonight we’re staying in a hotel,” she says, and Keith agrees. Smart man. Married at First Sight airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on Lifetime.
