On Season 4 of Match Game, host Alec Baldwin will welcome a panel comedic actors including Joel McHale (Community), Jane Krakowski (30 Rock), Finesse Mitchell (Saturday Night Live), Caroline Rhea (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch), Jason Biggs (American Pie), and the iconic La Toya Jackson.
Yes, the big sister of Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson will fill in the blanks on Match Game. This isn’t Jackson first time participating on the game show or reality competition. She’s been a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race and America’s Next Top Model, and before that, she made history as a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice (Season 4).
[La Toya Jackson won a Grammy for the reggae album Cliff Hanger]
La Toya Jackson was the first person in TV history to be fired from The Apprentice twice within the same season. Then she appeared on The All-Star Celebrity Apprentice in 2013 where she and fellow contestant Omarosa butted heads. When Jackson made the decision not to bring Omarosa into the boardroom, Jackson was fired by Donald Trump. Three years later, President Trump appointed Omarosa as Public Liaison Communications Director in the White House.
After being fired, Jackson appeared on Jimmy Fallon‘s late night show and said Trump likely wanted to keep Omarosa around because she is so dramatic. “He needs that excitement,” Jackson said of Trump. Fun fact: Alec Baldwin’s younger brother Stephen Baldwin competed with La Toya on that All-Star Celebrity Apprentice season. Match Game airs Wednesdays at 10 pm on ABC, right after Single Parents.
