The protagonist of the Lifetime movie Killer Body (previously titled “The Wrong Patient”) is plastic surgeon Dr. Katie Jones. Everything is going her way (she’s gorgeous, successful and married to a hot guy) until she has a consultation with Liz (Lindsay Maxwell). Dr. Jones performed surgery on her in the past but she’s had so much work done since, Dr. Jones doesn’t recognize Liz. When Dr. Jones tells Liz she’s not comfortable performing any further surgery on Liz, the narcissist patient proves she’s willing to do anything to become “perfect” – just like Dr. Jones. In one especially creepy scene, Liz tells Katie, “I don’t want to hurt you, I want to be you.” (Liz used a photo of Dr. Jones when she had her other surgeries done.)
Dr. Katie Jones is portrayed by Sunny Mabrey. The Alabama native is known for her roles on In the Rough (Holly Sanders), Once Upon a Time (Glinda), The Client List (Lisa Munsey), Mad Men (Shelly), Rules of Engagement (Erika), and Monk (Sister Sally), among others. Mabrey is also recognized for her roles opposite Samuel L. Jackson in Snakes on a Plane and xXx: State of the Union. Fun fact: Mabrey is married to actor Ethan Embry who’s currently playing Coyote on Gracie and Frankie. Killer Body premieres on LMN on Sunday, December 30 at 8 pm.
