In the Lifetime holiday movie A Twist of Christmas, two single parents, Abby Hewitt (Vanessa Lachey) and Ryan Cooper (Brendon Zub), accidentally mix up their children’s toys at a crowded department store. Frustrated, Abby tracks down Ryan at his law office and tries to remedy the situation. While both Abby and Ryan try to salvage their holiday plans, Abby turns to professor Dr. Thomas Baxter for advice.
Dr. Thomas Baxter is portrayed by 3-time NBA champion Rick Fox. (Fox won three straight titles as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, teamed with Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal.) As an actor, Fox is known for his roles on Oprah Winfrey’s Greenleaf (Darius Nash), Hit the Floor (Chase Vincent), Mr. Box Office (Andrew Thompson), House of Payne (Roland), One Tree Hill (Daunte Jones), Oz (Jackson Vahue), and in a variety of films including Dope (Councilman Blackmon), He Got Game (Chick Deagan), and Holes (Clyde “Sweetfeet” Livingston), among others.
