On the eighth episode of Dancing With the Stars: Juniors, the four remaining kid couples advance to the semi-finals. The competition heats up in anticipation of next week’s crowning of the coveted Mirrorball trophy (Sunday, December 9). One of the four, former Dance Moms star Mackenzie Ziegler and her pro dancer partner Sage Rosen will perform a Paso Doble to the Lady Gaga song “The Edge of Glory” from Gaga’s 2011 smash hit album Born This Way. The song is about living life to the fullest. The lyrics include: “put on your shades ‘cause I’ll be dancing in the flames.” For Mackenzie and Sage’s performance, the dance floor is dimly lit and the couple wear matching black outfits and (at the end) they use capes as props. Mackenzie and Sage are supervised DWTS pro dancer Gleb Savchenko.
The other three kid celebrities who made it to the Dancing with the Stars: Juniors semi-finals are: skateboarder Sky Brown (with JT Church), black-ish actor Miles Brown (with Rylee Arnold), and Disney’s Stuck in the Middle star Ariana Greenblatt (with Artyon Celestine). Dancing with the Stars: Juniors airs Sundays at 8 pm on ABC, right before Shark Tank.
