The Lifetime movie The Perfect Mother is about the delicate relationship between mother and daughter Stella and Shay Marshall (Lili Sepe). They bond by vlogging together, yes, making and sharing videos online. But when Stella finds herself on the outs with Shay, another teenager named Peyton Kelly (Audrey Whitby, The Thundermans) tries to take Shay’s place – and she’ll stop at nothing to make Stella the perfect mother of her own.
Shay’s mother, Stella, is portrayed by Sunny Mabrey. The former model from Alabama is known for her roles on In the Rough (Holly Sanders), The Client List (Lisa Munsey), Once Upon a Time (Glinda), and in the films Snakes on a Plane (Tiffany), and xXx: State of the Union (Charlie Mayweather), among others. Fun fact: Mabrey is married to actor Ethan Embry (Coyote on Grace and Frankie, Real Pete on Sneaky Pete). The Perfect Mother premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, November 3 at 8 pm.
