In the God Friended Me episode “The Prodigal Son,” Miles (Brandon Michael Hall) gets a Friend suggestion from God from someone he knows – his Uncle Terrance (guest star Malik Yoba). Uncle T is in trouble and Miles plans to help him but first he needs to help himself. Meanwhile, Cara (Violett Beane) is visited by her father Jeffrey who finds out she’s reconnected with her mother who left them when she was a child. He doesn’t look happy about the mother/daughter reunion.
Jeffrey is portrayed by Michael Vartan. He’s known for his roles on The Arrangement (Terence), Bates Motel (George Heldens), Hawthorne (Dr. Tom Wakefield), Alias (Agent Michael Vaughn), and in the films Monster-in-Law with Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda (SEE LINK ABOVE), One Hour Photo with the late Robin Williams, and Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore, among others. God Friended Me airs Sundays at 8:30 pm on CBS, right after 60 Minutes and right before NCIS: Los Angeles.
