On The Real Housewives of New Jersey episode “The Jersey Breakfast Club,” tensions mount between Melissa Gorga and her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. While vacationing in Oklahoma at a cattle ranch, over dinner new wife Jackie Goldschneider reveals that she had an eating disorder (anorexia) when she was in her twenties. Later Teresa tells Melissa that she thinks her brother Joey Gorga (Melissa’s husband) should spend more time with their father. Melissa warns Teresa that if she tells him “my husband will explode.” Teresa tells Melissa, “Then you should make him not f—king explode,” to which Melissa tells Teresa, “Shut your f—king mouth.” Ah, sisterly love.
Speaking of sisters, Melissa tells the ladies that she lost her father when she was 18 years old and is always looking for way to stay connected with his spirit. When she had a reading with medium Conchetta, she was told that her father said he had three daughters, not two. Melissa explains to the ladies that her father was “colorful” and “promiscuous” and at his funeral there was a woman “and no one knew who she was.” Melissa says there are just too many coincidences to dismiss what Conchetta told her. With tears in her eyes, Melissa says she doesn’t want to hurt her mom “but if I have a sister, I want to know her.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on Bravo, right before The Real Housewives of Dallas.
