Dr. Max McCandless is portrayed by Robin Thomas. He’s known for his roles on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Marco), Zoo (Max Morgan), The Division (Louis Perillo), Queer as Folk (Sam Auerbach), Murphy Brown (Murphy’s ex-husband and father her son, Jake Lowenstein), Matlock (prosecutor Burton Hawkins), and Who’s the Boss (Geoffrey), among many others. Thomas is also recognized for his roles in the films The Banger Sisters (Susan Sarandon’s husband), The Contender, Summer School, and About Last Night. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10 pm on CBS, right after Hawaii Five-0.
