In the Season 2 premiere of Station 19, “No Recovery,” the team faces a raging inferno inside a skyscraper. Meanwhile, Pruitt’s (Miguel Sandoval) health is in grave danger at Grey Sloan; and a seasoned firefighter with a mysterious past arrives at Station 19. Well, he’s actually returning to the Seattle Fire Department. His new skills and perspectives on the job will definitely rub some people the wrong way. The mystery man is portrayed by Boris Kodjoe.
[Kodjoe is Luther in the Resident Evil movies]
The 6’4″ tall actor is known for his roles on Code Black (Dr. Will Campbell), The Last Man on Earth (Phil Stacy Miller), Soul Food (Damon Carter), and Boston Pubic (Coach Derek Williams), among others. Kodjoe is also recognized for his roles in the films Ferdinand (Klaus), Madea’s Family Reunion (Frankie Henderson) and Love & Basketball (Jason). Kodjoe is currently filming the movie Nicole & O.J. (he’s playing O.J. Simpson). Fun fact: In real life, Kodjoe is married to actress Nicole Ari Parker, who currently plays Giselle on Empire. Station 19 airs Thursdays at 9pm on ABC, right after Grey’s Anatomy and right before How to Get Away with Murder.
