In the Grey’s Anatomy episode “Gut Feeling,” Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) works on a patient who happens to specialize in matchmaking, and a seemingly drunk patient pushes Richard’s (James Pickens, Jr.) buttons and gives him a medical mystery to solve. But before Richard operates, he gets kicked out of the OR by the new chief Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).
The “drunk” patient is portrayed by Mark L. Taylor. He’s known for his roles on How To Get Away with Murder (Vince Levin, see link above), Saving Grace (Henry Silver), Boston Legal (Attorney Adam Jovanka), Melrose Place (Dr. Louis Visconti), The Mask (Charlie Schumaker), Superman (Jimmy Olsen), Gimme a Break! (Mr. Broderick), and Mork & Mindy (Hamilton DuPont) among others. Taylor is also recognized for his roles in the films High School Musical 2 (Mr. Fulton), Arachnophobia (Jerry Manley) and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (Don Forrester). Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC, right before Station 19.
