Bristol Palin, daughter of former Governor of Alaska and former VP candidate Sarah Palin, has been on many reality TV shows. In fact, Bristol has been on 6 reality shows over the past 8 years. The 27-year-old mother of 3 is currently starring on MTV’s Teen Mom OG. In 2012, Bristol Palin competed on Season 15 of Dancing with the Stars (she was eliminated during Week 4.) Now her 9-year-old son Tripp Johnston* is competing on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. (Just like the original show, kid celebrities are paired up with kid professional dancers.)
[Bristol Palin’s memoir, Not Afraid of Life]
Cheering Tripp in the audience is Bristol Palin, her sister Piper Palin, and her mother Sarah Palin who brought her youngest child Trig with her. Trig is 10, about 8 months older than Tripp. Trig was prenatally diagnosed with Down syndrome and born in April 2008. In November of that year, the late John McCain and Palin lost the presidential race against Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Tripp, who’s dancing, was born in December. Dancing with the Stars: Juniors airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC, right before a new season of Shark Tank.
*Tripp’s father is Levi Johnston.
