Model Squad is a new reality TV show that follows nine fashion models who are trying to make it in the competitive world of modeling in New York City. Three of the models are also budding actresses. There’s Olivia Culpo (Reprisal with Bruce Willis), Devon Windsor (Brawl in Cell Block 99 with Vince Vaughn), and Ashley Moore. The 5’8″ Moore (who’s represented by NOUS Model Management) made her acting debut in Drake’s 2013 short film “Hold On, We’re Going Home” featuring R&B group Majid Jordan. It’s labeled a short film because the music video is seven minutes long.
“Hold On, We’re Going Home” is set in 1985 Miami. Drake plays a Scarface-esque kingpin (in white suit and black silk shirt) whose lover (Moore) is kidnapped by a rival gang. Drake rescues her from the kidnapper/mobster. The video/film has more than 132 million views. Three years later, in 2016, Moore made her debut on the big screen as personal assistant Sarah in the 2016 Andy Samberg movie Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Model Squad airs Tuesdays at 8pm on E!
