Watching the second round of Duels on World of Dance is brutal, particularly in the Junior category. Solo contemporary dancer Vivian Ruiz of Miami, Florida shows off her killer extensions and pirouettes and gives an emotional performance set to the song “Came Here For Love” by Sigala and Ella Eyre (see song link below). Judges Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough are visibly moved during the 16-year-old’s performance.
[Kaleo’s song “Way Down We Go”]
Vivian Ruiz is competing against Charity & Andres from Springville, Utah. Charity & Andres give an acrobatic and dynamic performance set to the Kaleo song “Way Down We Go.” (See song link above.) You can’t compare the performances. They’re both stunning and leave you wanting for more — but they’re completely different. World of Dance has moved to its new day and time – Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
THIS DUEL WAS ALMOST TOO LIT. ??? See why our judges were left speechless during #WorldofDance TOMORROW 8/7c on @nbc. ?? pic.twitter.com/pmCyVucS9d
