Watching 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is sometimes like watching a scary movie. Seemingly normal, lonely people who are looking for love fall so hard for someone they haven’t met in person. And then when they do meet the “love of their life” and discover unexpected things about their past or present, they question that person’s intentions. On Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, 33-year-old solo mom Rachel of Albuquerque, New Mexico has fallen in love with a gorgeous guy named John who lives in London, England. They met through a karaoke app.
While falling in love online, Rachel discovered that she was pregnant again. Instead of running away from Rachel, John ran toward her. While giving birth to her second daughter Lucy, she had John on the phone with her. She even sent him a piece of Lucy’s umbilical cord, “however crazy that sounds.” And though they haven’t been on a date, and he’s not Lucy’s biological father, Rachel says, “he views Lucy as his, as his daughter.” Okay, that sounds crazy. The good news is Rachel is aware of herself in this situation. She says, “I’m constantly questioning why John is willing to take me on.” 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC.
