On the Season 1 finale of Instinct, “Tribal,” Dylan (Alan Cunning) and Lizzie (Bojana Novakovic) investigate the murder of Joan’s (Whoopi Goldberg) protégé, Kristy (Paton Ashbrook). It turns out to be their biggest case yet. On a more personal note, Dylan and Andy (Daniel Ings) apply to adopt a child. During the process, they meet a social worker named Sheila.
Social worker Sheila is portrayed by Judith Ivey. The two-time Tony Award winner is also known for her roles in the films Flags of Our Fathers (Belle Block), The Devil’s Advocate with Al Pacino (Mrs. Alica Lomax), In Country with Bruce Willis (Anita), and Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs (Blanche), among others. Instinct airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
