There are only nine bachelors left on Season 14 of The Bachelorette. For the sixth episode, Becca Kufrin and her remaining suitors visit historic Richmond, Virginia. There she has two memorable one-on-one dates. One is with stuntman Leo Dottavio which includes dinner inside City Hall and a serenade by Australian country singer Morgan Evans. He sings his hit song “Kiss Somebody.” (SEE LINK BELOW) Becca’s other date is with New York banker Jason. After visiting a number of favorite donut shops in town, Becca and Jason take the trolley to the Edgar Allan Poe Museum.

At the Edgar Allan Poe Museum, Becca and Jason attend the museum’s “Un-happy Hour” which his held outside in the courtyard. It’s explained to Becca and Jason — who’s wearing a silver cross on his chest and holding tight to Becca — that the event is “for those who tend towards the more gothic realm of things.” Everyone is wearing black.
The host of the “Un-happy Hour” explains to the normal-looking couple, “It’s about welcoming darkness. You enjoy life through death.” Jason nods his head and says, “Of course.” But when alone with the camera, Jason admits “We went from having fun throwing frosting at each other’s face (at the donut shop) to this gothic party” with red drinks that looked like cups of blood. “It’s not something I can really relate to however we went with it.”
At the party, Jason is invited to join a mute gothic dancer who was stretching on a rug. Jason acquiesced and tried to mimic her movements which had Becca doubled-over laughing. “You’re just like Aladdin,” she told Jason. The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
