Season 2 of The Four: The Battle for Stardom features four fierce new singers. They are Latin pop star Stephanie Zelaya, soul singer Carvena Jones, rapper Sharaya J., and former boy band member James Graham. Many, if not all four contestants, have tattoos. One of the most visible is the red BAD tattoo on the forearm of 21-year-old British singer Graham. It is the logo of the Michael Jackson 1987 BAD album which won two Grammy Awards and included his hit song BAD.

Story goes the song BAD produced by Quincy Jones was supposed to be a duet with Jackson and Prince, but that didn’t pan out. Michael Jackson had said that he wrote the song based on a story he read in a magazine about New York City kid who was sent to a private boarding school upstate. When he returned home for Thanksgiving break, his friends who were “left behind” grew jealous and killed him. Filmmaker Martin Scorsese directed an 18-minute music video of BAD starring Jackson and Wesley Snipes, who plays the jealous kid. Video below. (The boy who returns to the city is played by Jackson and he’s not killed in the video.) The script was written by novelist Richard Price. The Four: The Battle for Stardom airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
James Graham also has a THRILLER tattoo next to a Peter Pan tattoo…
