On the Teen Mom 2 episode “Quicksand,” while Chelsea and Cole confront Adam’s parents after a visit with Aubrey, Javi and Briana go to get matching tattoos. On their way to the tattoo shop, in the car Javi calls his brother Sal to tell them that they’re about to get King and Queen chess pieces. When Javi kids (kind of) that he wants Briana to add his name “to make it real”, Sal suggests that she gets Javi’s face tattooed.
When Javi hangs up, 24-year-old mother of two Briana says Sal is funny and asks how long Sal has been married to his wife. Javi says five years. “Wow, so your family has a long history of being in long relationships.” Javi says yes, and “that’s why I value relationships, long term relationships.” At the tattoo shop, Briana goes first and she likes the final product. She says it’s “cute.” Javi says, “Sorry we can’t break up. Now you’re stuck with me forever, in some way.” Briana rolls her eyes. P.S. Since taping this episode, Javi and Briana have broken up. Javi is expecting a child with new girlfriend Lauren Comeau. No word yet if they’ve gotten or are planning on getting matching tattoos. Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 8pm on MTV.
