On the Season 10 Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta episode “Let Me Show Y’all How It’s Done,” Monte’s best friend comes in to shop for her wedding dress. The problem is, there’s another man in the room who thinks he knows what’s best for the bride, too. Meanwhile, young bride Marcia brings her two uncles and her mother with her to Bridal by Lori. And while her uncles want Marcia to choose a sparkly dress, Mom is more traditional. She wants something simple for her daughter.
In the sneak peek video below, look how excited Marcia’s uncle is when he sees her looking like a princess in a fancy dress. You can hear his breath being taken! Marcia loves the dress, too. Marcia’s uncle — who is beaming with excitement (that’s not an exaggeration, see photo above) — claims, “I say yes to this dress.” Cue record needle scratch. Uh-oh. Marcia’s mother is not in agreement. And Marcia — who values her mother’s opinion (maybe too much?) — says her heart just sank. Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta airs Saturdays at 8pm on TLC.
