All of the kids who appear on Little Big Shots are talented and confident. But 13-year-old hip hop dancer Maesi Caes might be the most confident. On Little Big Shots, Maesi demonstrates her crazy flexibility with a show business performer’s smile. No, this isn’t Maesi’s first time on TV. In December 2016, the girl from Iowa (and her eccentric mother Jamie Caes) first appeared on the Lifetime reality show Dance Moms, starring complicated dance instructor Abby Lee Miller. (The Caes women stayed on the show until Abby had to leave the dance studio and head to prison. In 2016, Miller pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud. In March 2018, Miller was released from prison after serving eight months.)
