In the Elementary episode “Once You’ve Ruled Out God,” a Department of Energy inspector is killed with a lightning gun. His killer stole a plutonium shipment to make a dirty bomb. It’s up to Watson (Lucy Liu) and Holmes (Jonnie Lee Miller) try to track down the killer before the bomb is made. Meanwhile, Watson also has to deal with the death of her estranged biological father which results in a reunion with his half sister, Lin.

Watson’s half sister Lin is portrayed by Samantha Quan. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles on Suburgatory (Candi), CSI: Miami (Jane Bartlett), Three Moons Over Milford (Claire), and in the 2003 film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (Lori), among others. Elementary airs Mondays at 10pm on CBS, right after The Big Bang Theory.
