The athletic ability and agility of the contestants on American Ninja Warrior is amazing. There’s no doubt about that. But the icing on the ANW cake are the hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila and their live commentary. Their chemistry is on full display during the two-hour American Ninja Warrior: All-Stars Specials on Thursday, May 17. The ANW All-Stars include Jessie Graff, Island Ninja Grant McCartney, track star Jesse “Flex” Labreck and Cowboy Ninja Lance Pekus, who will brave the National Finals course which includes the high-flying Wicked Wingnuts from last season.
While watching the 26-year-old, 5’8″ tall track and field star-turned-coach Jesse Labreck go through the snake run, Iseman yells, “Oh, she’s real ginger!” In the video below, watch as Jesse nails a transition to the rope before tagging her partner, Cowboy Ninja Lance.
