In the Superior Donuts episode “The ICEMen Cometh,” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been raiding Uptown Chicago. Food truck vendor Sofia (Diane Guerrero) is worried about her undocumented brother Rafael (guest star Erik Rivera). Sofia turns to Franco (Jermaine Fowler) for help. Things get tense when ICE Agent Kozek shows up looking to deport Rafael to Colombia.
Sofia’s undocumented brother Rafael is portrayed by stand-up comedian Erik Rivera. Rivera made his Late Night debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and is also recognized for his role as Owen Cardoza on the TV mini-series Off Script, among others. Superior Donuts airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS, right after Kevin Can Wait, and right before Elementary.
