The Lifetime movie “I Killed My BFF: The Preacher’s Daughter” is sadly inspired by true events. The preacher’s daughter is Lily Adler. When she befriends her twin brother Jason’s (Matthew James Ballinger) new girlfriend Rae (Carly Pope, Arrow, Suits), Lily “strays from her modest ways.” When her twin brother mysterious dies, Lily suspects Rae is involved. And then things get really crazy. Rae’s estranged daughter Scarlett (Katherine Reis, Rise) shows up, and Lily seeks revenge for her twin brother by taking Scarlett away from Rae and indoctrinating Scarlett into the church. It was a creepy plot to begin with, the church setting is icing on the cake.

The crazy preacher’s daughter is portrayed by Megan West. She’s known for her roles on This Is Us (Migel’s assistant Heather who has the hots for Jack), Edward Burns’ Public Morals (Rosemary Patton), and How to Get Away with Murder (Lila Stangard), among others. West will appear next on the big screen in the horror film Apparition with Mena Suvari and Kevin Pollak. I Killed My BFF: The Preacher’s Daughter premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, April 22 at 8pm.
