In the Season 3 premiere of Quantico, Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) interrupts Alex’s (Priyanka Chopra) idyllic life in Italy. But for a good reason. He needs Alex to help rescue Shelby (Johanna Braddy) from The Widow (guest star Jayne Houdyshell), an international arms dealer who is holding Shelby hostage. Owen (Blair Underwood) is on the case too and he’s brings in former agent Jocelyn Turner, who knows The Widow very well.
Jocelyn is portrayed by Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin. The deaf actress is known for her roles on The Magicians (Harriet), Switched at Birth (Melody), The L Word (Jodi Lerner), The West Wing (Joey Lucas, see link above), Picket Fences (Mayor Bey), and Reasonable Doubts (ADA Tess Kaufman), among others. Matlin won the Best Actress Oscar for her role as Sarah Norman in the 1986 film Children of a Lesser God, based on the play. Quantico airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC, right after Station 19.
