On the Lethal Weapon episode “Leo Getz Hitched,” Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) attend lawyer Leo Getz’s (Thomas Lennon) surprise wedding. He’s getting married to a gorgeous woman named Nina. But things don’t go as smoothly as planned for Getz — who’s wearing a hilarious boutonniere made with peacock feathers. When the bride goes missing, Riggs and Murtaugh finds a dead man in her closet!
Leo Getz’s bride Nina is portrayed by Shakira Barrera. The actress from Englewood, New Jersey is known for her roles on GLOW (Yolanda), High & Mighty (Angie), Faking It (Vashit), Rosewood (Andi Singh), and Freak Out, among others. Barrera, who is of Nicaraguan descent, was also in the action film Blood Heist with James Franco (see cast photo below). Barrera will appear next in the TV movie Three Rivers with John Larroquette and Annaleigh Ashford. Lethal Weapon airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX, right before LA to Vegas.
