On the Little Big Shots episode “Too Many Chefs,” host Steve Harvey meets two very talented musicians. One is 11-year-old powerhouse singer Charlotte Summers from Spain. The other is 10-year-old bass guitar phenom Lil Asmar. During their interview on the Little Big Shots sofa, Steve Harvey asks Lil Asmar to play him something on his bass guitar. Lil Asmar tells Harvey the song he’s about to play “is for you Mister Steve Harvey,” which has the audience awwwing loud and clear. Lil Asmar also reveals that he wrote the original song which he calls “The Asmar Five.”
While Lil Asmar jams on the guitar, the exchange of facial expressions between him and Harvey is hilarious. See video below. “You’re a bad boy,” Harvey says to Asmar as a compliment as the audience applauds. When the camera cuts to Asmar’s father in the crowd who’s standing up, pumping his fists, Dad is yelling “Yes, yes!” with pride. Harvey repeats, “You’re a bad boy.” New episodes of Little Big Shots air Sundays at 8pm on NBC.
