On Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Potomac fans get to see more of Gizelle Bryant and her boyfriend Sherman Douglas. This season the couple talks about moving in together and what that would entail. They both have three kids. As Sherman (Gizelle calls him “Sherm-Sherm”) says, “It’ll be like the Brady Bunch.”
The 51-year-old Douglas played college basketball at Syracuse University before being drafted by the Miami Heat in 1989 and winning a spot on the NBA’s All-Rookie First Team. Douglas probably played his best basketball with the Boston Celtics (1992-1995). The 6-foot-tall athlete picked up the nickname The General in Boston, while doing his magic on the famous parquet floor of the Boston Garden. His nickname, The General, is a play on his first name (Sherman, also the last name of a famous Civil War general, of course) and his position as a point guard on the floor. (The point guard directs the action, calls the plays, starts the offense.) The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 10pm on Bravo.
