In the NCIS episode “Sight Unseen,” NCIS is called in after a petty officer who’s suspected of assault escapes from the custody of a sheriff. (The sheriff crashes into a lake!) Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) works closely with Annie Barth, a key blind witness who heard vital evidence needed to solve the case.
Annie Barth is portrayed by Marilee Talkington, who is one of literally a handful of legally blind actors in the country to earn an M.F.A. in Acting (American Conservatory Theater). This episode of NCIS, which is the series’ 350th!, is Talkington’s TV acting debut. NCIS airs Mondays at 8pm on CBS, right before Bull.
