In the Family Guy episode “Send in Stewie, Please,” Stewie (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) gets sent to see his school’s child psychologist, Dr. Cecil Pritchfield. During their session together, Stewie surprises himself by revealing major, never-before-told secrets about himself.

Dr. Pritchfield is voiced by Sir Ian McKellen. The 78-year-old Englishman is known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings (Gandalf) and X-Men (Magneto) blockbuster films. The Shakespearean stage actor is also known for his roles in Richard III (Richard III), Gods and Monsters (James Whale), and Six Degrees of Separation (Geoffrey), among others. Fun fact: McKellen played a vampire in the Pet Shop Boys’ “Heart” music video in 1987 (see video below). McKellen was knighted in 1991. He’s currently playing King Lear at the Duke of York Theatre in the West End. Family Guy airs Sundays at 9pm on FOX, right after Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
