In the Little Big Shots episode “We’re in La La Land,” affable TV host Steve Harvey will welcome 6-year-old Oscar Donnelly from Scotland to the stage. He’s an Irish dancer who choreographs his own steps. When he was four, he performed the Kilkenny Races dance set at a speed of 110 BPM (that’s beats per minute). He was 4! See video below. What’s crazy is that Oscar can’t compete in the Irish Dancing world competitions yet because you have to be at least 11 to enter.
This isn’t Oscar’s first time on TV. He appeared on the UK version of Little Big Shots last year. With his American episode airing the day after St. Patrick’s Day, Oscar made sure to give a shout out to Steve Harvey who replied with a video (see below). Who knew St. Patrick’s Day was one of Harvey’s favorite holidays?! Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm and 8pm on NBC.
