In the Teen Mom 2 episode “Unconfuse Your Brain,” while Catelynn surprises her family with news about her third pregnancy, Amber talks about her second pregnancy. At her house, lying in bed, feeding fruit to her man Andrew, Amber is asked by MTV producer David “what did you learn at the doctor?” Amber says she’s 13 weeks pregnant and will soon be able to find out the gender of the baby. Andrew asks, “Do you want to find out?” Amber says, “Well, of course I do.” Andrew suggests that they wait “a little bit longer” to keep the mystery going. “Why do I need a mystery with a baby?” asks Amber.
Andrew goes on excitedly about painting the nursery a neutral color like taupe. That’s when Amber cuts him off, “No, listen, baby. That California stuff has got to go.” Andrew laughs but Amber says, “Now I’m getting stressed out.” Andrew keeps going for a gray color which has Amber seriously getting “pissed off.” She claims it’s the “weirdest argument.” At the end, she says, “I don’t give a shit about your hippie bullshit right now.” Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
