In the Blindspot episode “Balance of Might,” Reade (Rob Brown) looks into one of Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) tattoos, the tattoo with the three figures holding spears and shields. The figures on the tattoo spell out the letters IKO which the team has traced to Camp IKO, a refugee camp. A Sudanese refugee just arrived in New York and called Meg Butani, Reade’s journalist girlfriend, which has the team suspicious. Why call a journalist and not the team directly?
Reade’s journalist girlfriend Meg is portrayed by Reshma Shetty. The English-born actress is known for her roles on Pure Genius (Dr. Talaikha Channarayapatra), Royal Pains (Divya Katdare, see link above), Odd Mom Out (Rima), and Happyish (Maya), among others. Blindspot airs Fridays at 8pm on NBC, right before Taken.
