In the Fresh off the Boat episode “Big Baby,” Honey (Chelsey Crisp) signs up for a parenting class led by self-proclaimed sage Wilhelmina Page (guest star Niecy Nash). She’s excited about the class but her mother Anne pooh-poohs the whole notion of mothers “listening to their babies.”
Honey’s mother Anne is portrayed by Cheryl Hines. Hines is known for her roles on Curb Your Enthusiasm (Larry David’s ex-wife Cheryl), Son of Zorn (Edie), Suburgatory (Dallas Royce), and in the several movies including A Bad Moms Christmas (Kristen Bell’s mom Sandy, photo below), Think Like a Man Too (Andrea), and RV (as Robin Williams’ wife Jamie), among others. Fun fact: She is married to Robert Kennedy, Jr. Fresh off the Boat airs Tuesdays at 8:30pm on ABC, right after The Middle.
