In the 9-1-1 episode “Next of Kin,” while Athena calls for an ambulance at her home, firefighter Bobby (Peter Krause) and his team respond to an emergency at a children’s birthday party. A bouncy house has fallen off a cliff, with the kids inside. It’s up to Bobby (not Chang!) to save them.
The parents at the children’s birthday party, Matthew and Beth Clark, are portrayed by Doug Savant and Heather Mazur. Savant is known for his roles on Desperate Housewives (Tom Scavo) and Melrose Place (Matt Fielding). Mazur is known for her roles on Awkward (Darlene Saxton) and Crash (Amy Battaglia), among others. 9-1-1 airs Wednesdays at 9pm on FOX.
