On My Big Fat Fabulous Life, things aren’t always so fabulous for the star of the show Whitney Way Thore. This season she finds out her new boyfriend has been keeping “a dark truth” from her, and Todd refuses to give her her dance class back. The good news is, Whitney always finds a way to laugh.
Hours before the “Ghosted” episode of My Big Fat Fabulous Life premieres (January 9), Whitney and her friend Rufus went on Facebook to talk with fans. With the camera rolling, Whitney opened a mailing tube sent from Discovery. When she opened it, she burst out laughing. It was a stack of posters featuring her father Glenn on the beach in Mexico, hugging a palm tree. “There are so many of them,” said Whitney, “I’m going to do a giveaway.” And then she had another great idea — to hang one on the ceiling of her bedroom so her house guest can enjoy it too. (Whitney says she’s giving her guest the bedroom.) My Big Fat Fabulous Life airs Tuesdays at 8pm on TLC.
