Fans of The X-Files are excited to watch the all-new Season 11 which premieres on January 3. Last season ended with a cliffhanger — the son of Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) has gone missing. Now the parents are desperate to find him, but they’re not alone. FBI Agent Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish), who now works for Smoking Man (William B. Davis), is involved in the chase. In the season premiere, she’s seen sitting in the back seat of a car Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) is driving.
A few weeks before the season premiere, Gish (who plays Reyes) posted a photo of the scene (see below) and wrote: “That’s a lot of intensity for an Uber ride! What’s going on between #skinner and #reyes? Only 16 days until secrets are revealed (maybe)…” Gish’s fans left a number of clever alternative captions including “Driving Miss Reyes.” The X-Files airs Wednesdays at 8pm on FOX.
